It takes me a while to work my way through the weekend's papers, especially when it's the Christmas break, so I've only just got round to last Saturday's Guardian Review.
Interesting to see Linda Buckley-Archer reviewing Maggot Moon by Sally Gardner (see http://www.guardian.co.uk/books/2012/dec/28/maggot-moon-sally-gardner-review) only days before it was declared the winner of the Children's category for the Costa prize.
Far be it from me to mention that we splurged on Ms Gardner's work in our Sept/Oct 2012 issue featuring not only Maggot Moon but also I, Corianderand Double Shadow. Congratulations, Sally, and fingers crossed for the outright winner prize.
(Having said that, could kick myself for not having thought of interviewing Christopher Maclehose before they did. Superbly talented publisher that he is.)
